Preparation and Cooking Instructions: Stove Top: Rinse and sort through lentils, removing any unwanted material. Lentils require no soaking. Bring 2 quarts water or stock and salt to taste (omit if using stock) to a boil and add 2 LB. sleeve lentils Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes, or until tender. Remove from heat and serve, or reserve for further preparation. Yield 22 – ½ cups.
