Preparation and Cooking Instructions: STOVE TOP: 2 LB. Sleeve:
Rinse and sort through beans, removing any unwanted material, place in a large pot, add water to cover by 4 inches. Cover pot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and leave covered for 1 hour. Drain liquid, add 3 quarts of water and contents of seasoning packet, and return to boiling. Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook for 1½ - 2 hours, or until desired texture is obtained.
